Diana Blake, of Burbank, California, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2010. She was 46 years young.
Diana was born on November 1, 1964 in Hawthorne, California to Carl and Fay Incorvaia.
She was raised in Granada Hills, California, graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and continued her education at California State University Northridge.
Shortly thereafter, Diana was employed by The Post Group where she quickly excelled. Her success at The Post Group proved to be the start of a long and successful career in the Hollywood motion picture sound industry.
Over the next 25 years, Diana worked for companies such as: The Post Complex, The Bakery Studios, Mix Magic, SoundStorm, Soundelux and most recently Wildfire Post-Production Studios. Diana was involved with an impressive list of feature movies over the years, including: Ghost (1990), A Time To Kill (1996), L. A. Confidential (1997), Batman & Robin (1997), Black Hawk Down (2001), Milk (2008), Twilight (2008), The Messenger (2009) to name a few.
Diana enjoyed going to work, with a career she enjoyed and co-workers she loved. Diana was a caring friend. She loved her family dearly and absolutely adored her daughter. Diana loved life and was loved by many.
Diana is survived by her father Carl Incorvaia of Granada Hills, her daughter, Taylor Blake of Burbank, her daughter's father, Keith Blake of Burbank, sisters Pat Burris of Valencia, and Colleen Silver of Granada Hills, brother Wayne Incorvaia of Granada Hills, niece Yvonne Rhodes of Valencia, nephews Mark Pelletier of Valencia, Eric Pelletier of Valencia & Ryan Silver of Reseda.
May of 2010, Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Fay Incorvaia.
Due to limited chapel seating, the family has invited relatives, close family friends & Diana's co-worker friends to the funeral services, held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary Chapel / San Fernando Mission Cemetery, located at 11160 Stranwood Avenue, Mission Hills, California 91345.
